Your account and portfolio data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database service. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each user's holdings are protected by row-level security policies — it is technically impossible for one user to read or modify another user's holdings.
Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth, which follows industry-standard security practices including bcrypt password hashing and JWT session tokens.
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in between visits. This cookie contains a JWT token that identifies your session — it contains no personal information beyond a reference to your account.
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies beyond Google Analytics, which is used to understand aggregate page traffic on the public-facing pages of this site (not the portfolio feature).
